Project Description
Anne Rougemont
Anne was born and raised in Geneva, where she still lives. After studying politics she became a journalist at Tribune de Genève, Geneva’s biggest daily newspaper, and went on to work for Swiss television. She later joined the University of Geneva where, as a founding member of a now well-known facility called the Physiscope, she worked on projects that make advanced physics understandable to all, including a number of documentary films.
In 2009 she decided to return to her enduring love for writing and fiction, training in Paris and Lyon to become a creative writing teacher. She has been leading regular workshops since 2011.
Anne has been interested in English language and literature, spirituality (including Buddhism) and self-development for many years. She writes: ‘Translating The Buddha, Geoff and Me allowed me to blend all of these passions together. It was an enlightening experience!’
Anne lives with her son and daughter and now works as a yoga teacher and freelance writing consultant.
