She is a certified teacher of Mindfulness, Focusing, Somatic Experiencing (trauma therapy) and Nonviolent Communication, and runs her own consultancy: www.elizabethenglish.life

She lives in Cambridge with her cocker spaniel, Cherub – whose ‘Mindful Puppy Diaries’ appear in nine short episodes on video, to entertain and delight. When she isn’t teaching or writing, Elizabeth enjoys singing classical song, historical fiction, and walking her dog.
