Project Description
Graham Dixon
Until 2020, Graham Dixon was Head of Radio at the European Broadcasting Union in Geneva, responsible for supporting public broadcasters around Europe and beyond. Before that, he was the Managing Editor of BBC Radio 3 and Diversity Lead for BBC Radio.
He recently returned to the UK from Switzerland where he is now active as a media consultant and trustee for Chiddingstone Castle, home to an extensive collection of Buddhist objects from across Asia.
Graham first became interested in Buddhism following an unusual brush with secular mindfulness at a senior management development workshop; he subsequently gained a Masters in Buddhist Studies, where his particular interest was the emergence of the earliest Buddhist community.
When not travelling, he likes to walk in the countryside around his home in Limpsfield, Surrey, a landscape which features some spectacular trees.
